All About Me

Hello, 

I'm Mr. Richardson, and I couldn't have been more excited about teaching 6th Grade Science, and Life Science this year! I was born and raised in nearby South Boston, Virginia, but have lived in Danville for 10 years. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Biology (Go Hokies) and received my Masters in Teaching from Chowan University. I have extensive knowledge of various sciences and love to pass my knowledge on to those around me. 

My lessons are always lively and filled with enjoyable activities, and, most importantly, my lessons benefit my students. I use various teaching methodologies, props, flashcards, whiteboards, and interactive videos to accomplish the desired goal. I use several different approaches, such as Total Physical Response and Communicative, to better convey knowledge to my students.

I am always Polite and Patient with my students and expect that they show me the same Respect.
